    Service and installation engineer ICT

Keep sorting machines running at pharmacies and fulfilment centres across Europe, and help shape how we put AI to work in our own service process.

    Organisation
    Farma Sort & Collo-X
    Contract
Full time, 32 to 40 hours
    Location
    Wijchen or Waardenburg, Netherlands
    Level
    MBO+ / HBO

    Where you land

Farma Sort and Collo-X build state of the art sorting and fulfilment machines. Farma Sort supplies sorting solutions to pharmacies, hospital pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers: SpeedFiller, RotoFilling, EasyFilling, MicroSorter and PuttWall. Collo-X does the same for e-commerce fulfilment and 3PL, where peaks and order volume set the pace.

Our sorting machines run at customer sites throughout Europe and every machine comes with a service contract, so when something goes wrong we have to respond fast. We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who enjoys helping customers keep their systems up and who thinks along about improvements.

The base is Wijchen (Nijmegen area) or Waardenburg (Zaltbommel and Tiel area). From there you work on faults remotely and drive out to a customer now and then.

    What you will do

    • Talk to our customers directly to help them solve a problem, remotely and sometimes on site.
    • Analyse faults: read logs and search SQL databases.
    • Run data corrections and queries in customer environments.
    • Test, document and prepare releases.
    • Software development.
And the part we really want to talk about

Putting AI to work on our own job

Think pattern recognition in fault data, smarter ticket prioritisation, or an assistant that helps service engineers find the real cause faster. We have ideas, not a finished roadmap. What you bring to this counts heavily.

    What you bring

    • MBO+ or HBO level, in embedded systems engineering, computer engineering, ICT or similar.
    • Experience working in SQL databases.
    • An affinity with machines and industrial automation.
    • Service minded, with good communication skills.
    • Dutch and English, written and spoken.
    • A category B driving licence and a willingness to drive to a customer in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe now and then.

    Nice to have, not required

    • Programming experience, preferably in .NET or C#.
    • Experience with PLCs, industrial networks or machine control.
    • Experience in pharma, logistics or e-commerce fulfilment.

    What you get

    • An attractive salary.
    • Holiday days, a solid pension scheme and a travel allowance.
    • Room to decide how you solve something, and the budget to do it properly.
    • Work in a relatively small, enthusiastic organisation.
    • Training wherever it helps you get better.

    How to apply

Send a short email with your CV to ahendriks@farmasort.nl. No two page cover letter needed: write a few sentences about what you do now and what you would like to build here.

    After that

    1. 1An hour long introduction.
    2. 2A technical conversation.
    3. 3A tour of the machines.
    4. 4We let you know where you stand within a week.

    Questions first? Call Albert Hendriks on +31 24 72 00 088.
